| Qualification: | i) a) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission with post graduate qualifications viz. MDS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission: AND b) 05 years teaching experience in the relevant subject in a recognized institution as Assistant Prof. or an equivalent position, recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission provided that at least 3 research papers published in a standard dental/ medical journal while working as Assistant Professor. Teaching experience will be preferred and credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal. ii) If no such candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available; then; a) BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission with post graduate minor Diploma qualifications in the relevant subject as recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission; and b) 3 years teaching experience in the relevant subject as Demonstrator in a recognized Institution after post graduate qualification. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal. AND c) 7 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the respective subject; provided that at least 5 research papers published in a standard dental/medical journal while working as Assistant Professor |

| Research: | Only those relevant ORIGINAL ARTICLES which have been published in book-form on or before the closing date shall be considered. Review articles, case-studies/reports, translations, briefs, papers presented in conferences, editorials, etc. shall not be admissible as published research papers. However, online published research work in a recognized foreign journal shall be accepted. The journal(s) should be duly indexed by PMC/PMDC/Pubmed/Index Medicus/ExcerptaMedica/Embase. Recognition list of such journal(s) by PMC/PMDC shall also be required. |
